Refund and Cancellation Policy
Bloom Vocal (operated by Double-J-Studio, Republic of Korea) is the service provider. Payments for this service are processed by Polar Software Inc. (Delaware, USA) acting as the Merchant of Record, which handles billing, tax collection (including EU/UK VAT), and disbursement. Refund decisions for the underlying service are made by Bloom Vocal; Polar may also issue refunds independently to prevent chargebacks.
Article 1. Standard Refund Eligibility
A full refund is available when both of the following conditions are met:
- The request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date
- None of the purchased credits have been used
Article 2. Refund Restrictions
Refunds are restricted in the following cases:
- Any purchased credit has been used, even once. Credits represent digital content that is considered delivered upon first use.
- More than 14 days have passed since the payment date
- Fraud, account sharing, or a violation of our Terms of Service has been confirmed
Partial consumption of a credit pack is also treated as commencement of delivery for that pack. If you believe an exceptional circumstance applies, please contact customer support.
Article 3. Subscription Refunds (Bloom Plus)
"Bloom Plus" is a monthly recurring subscription. When a subscription payment is made, the credits for that billing cycle are granted immediately, meaning digital content delivery has commenced.
- Full refund: available within 7 days of the payment date, provided the subscription credits granted for that billing cycle have never been used.
- Otherwise, the payment is non-refundable, and no pro-rata or partial refunds are provided.
- Cancellation: you may cancel auto-renewal at any time from the in-app settings or the billing management (customer portal). After cancellation you may continue to use the service until the end of the already-paid period, after which automatic billing stops.
- Credits granted through a subscription expire at the end of the billing cycle and do not roll over. Separately purchased credits are not affected.
- For consumers in the EU, EEA, and the United Kingdom, the statutory withdrawal rights described in Article 4 also apply to subscription purchases and prevail where more favorable than this Article.
Article 4. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days (Article 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU; UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Our standard 14-day refund window in Article 1 is designed to align with this right.
Because credits are digital content delivered electronically, by starting to use any credit from a given purchase you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for that purchase under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the equivalent UK provisions. Until you have used any credit from a purchase, you may withdraw from that purchase within the 14-day window by following the procedure in Article 6 below.
Article 5. Exceptional Full Refunds
Regardless of usage or elapsed time, a full refund will be provided when any of the following applies:
- Credits were not properly deducted due to a technical error
- Duplicate or erroneous charges are confirmed
- The service becomes unusable due to circumstances attributable to Bloom Vocal
- The service differs materially from what was advertised or described
Article 6. How to Request a Refund
- You can request a refund by selecting the order from 'My Credits > Request Refund' inside the app.
- After automatic eligibility verification, we will notify you of the outcome by email within 3 business days.
- For subscription refunds or other exceptional refunds, please email doublejstudio21@gmail.com with your order ID and reason.
Article 7. Refund Processing
- Once approved, refunds are processed through Polar Software Inc. to the original payment method (credit card, etc.).
- Credit card refund posting may take 5–10 days depending on the issuing bank's policy.
- When a refund completes, any credits granted for that order are automatically revoked. If your current balance is lower than the granted amount, only the remaining balance will be deducted.
Article 8. Taxes
As the Merchant of Record, Polar Software Inc. is responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting any applicable VAT, sales tax, GST, or similar indirect taxes in the jurisdiction of the buyer. When a purchase is refunded, the corresponding tax is refunded as part of the original payment reversal.
Article 9. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or waive any non-waivable statutory consumer rights that you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including but not limited to rights regarding satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, conformity with description, applicable automatic-renewal protections (such as U.S. state automatic-renewal laws), and any applicable mandatory withdrawal rights. Where such laws grant you rights more favorable than this policy, those rights prevail.
Article 10. Policy Changes
If we change this policy, we will provide at least 7 days' notice in-app before the change takes effect. Material changes will also be communicated by email.
